Real Estate Class Offered For First Time Home Buyers

York P.A.,NAR,FAR,NABOR,  A local Florida Realtor  has been selected as the Instructor for a Real Estate class in conjunction with the Collier County Public Schools and the District School Board of Collier County’s Adult and Community Education Department curriculum. This course is designed for first time home buyers  or parents and grandparents who want to help their children purchase a home and learn how to receive a tax benefit .The following  topics will be covered, identify the first steps of ownership, how much money do I need for a down payment (Maybe not as much as you think), How does  my credit score effect purchasing my first home, How much of a home can you  afford, Understanding market real estate trends  and how it can  benefit your purchase , Learn the monthly cost difference of owning a house vs condo, How to obtain state bonds to help with your down payment. Guest speakers will also include Real Estate attorney, Mortgage Banker, Insurance agent.     

The class, which costs $69 and runs for five consecutive weeks on Thursday’s and begins  February 23rd 2012  at Barron Collier High School, room 465. The hours of the class are 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.   Registration begins 30 minutes prior to the start of class.
