Real Estate Course For Buyers: Learn about Naples trends and recent market statistics—the best way to buy/sell real estate in today’s Naples market, determining the true value of a home, how appraisals can affect a sale, and how you can save $1000’s on closing costs. Learn how to buy short sales, foreclosures, and bank-owned properties, how to evaluate the content of all real estate contracts, and how contract details can impact your purchase. Learn about the newest communities that are being built in the area, and why you should have a Realtor represent you from the start. Take a field trip to the county clerk’s office to attend a foreclosure sale. Learn about buying tax certificates, and how to use Collier County websites such as Clerk of the Court, Tax Collector, and County Appraiser. The class will also cover HUD and closing statements, as well as different ways to save on your homeowner’s insurance. This class meets for 4 weeks, starting new schedule for 2018-2019 on Wednesday’s, from 6:30-8:30 pm at Barron Collier High School; the cost is $69.

James D. York P.A.,NAR,FAR,NABOR, This course is designed for first time home buyers or a person that has not owned a home in the last three years.The following topics will be covered, identify the first steps of ownership, how much money do I need for a down payment (Maybe not as much as you think), How does my credit score effect purchasing my first home, How much of a home can you afford, Understanding market real estate trends and how it can benefit your purchase , Learn the monthly cost difference of owning a house vs condo, How to obtain state bonds to help with your down payment. Guest speakers will also include Real Estate attorney, Mortgage Banker, Insurance agent.
